In addition to more traditional mp3 downloads, Last.fm can create playlists for you based on the preferences you express for songs it picks. Of course, it takes a bit to get a feel for what you like, but if you a large appetite for variety, this can be a great way to find new artists.

SoundClick is a music hosting site that seems to cater to the artist more than the listener. They provide the standard biographies, pictures, mp3 store, etc., as well as play charts be genre. As you can see, they also have very nice players.

MySpace

I used to have a description of what MySpace was here, but given its current popularity, that seems a bit superfluous. Longing for Orpheus has had a page here for quite a while now.

Facebook

It seems that MySpace is no longer the trendy place to be, due to the glut of advertisements. Facebook is the new MySpace.

Acid Planet

AcidPlanet hosts remix contests to promote their music sequencing software. Longing for Orpheus' remixes of Conjure One's "Face the Music" and State of Grace's "Christe Redemptor" are available here.

MP3 Unsigned

This was the first site to host the music of Longing for Orpheus. There are only three songs hosted, but one is exclusive to this site. Distance was entered into, and selected as a winner for their Loopmasters contest. This song is quite a departure from usual style of Longing for Orpheus, but may foreshadow future releases...
